1 Gallon 5wt Shock Oil
Originally developed as a mil spec aircraft landing gear oil under Aeroshell and Royco brands. It was knocked off for the off road racing world without the aviation mil spec to reduce the pricing for the same exact thing. This 5wt shock oil contains additives that provide excellent low & high temperature fluidity as well as exceptional anti-wear, oxidation – corrosion inhibition, and shear stability. In addition, metal deactivators and foam inhibitors are provided in this high viscosity index fluid to enhance performance for the challenges of high heat off-road racing.
It is a mineral oil base and natural rubber components are not compatible in any shock using this oil. Synthetic Rubbers, Buna, Viton, Urethane, Teflon, NHBR are all compatible with this oil.
